Day 15, Hazebrouck to Home. 200 miles

Not much too say about the journey home, left in the rain and arrived home in the rain. A good breakfast from Thierry at L'Echappe this morning, perhaps a little too much coffee with all the rain I've seen today. Managed to stickerbomb the Eurotunnel bike park. Overall it's been another fantastic tour totalling around 3000 miles and 5 countries, 3 of them new to me. Poland, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Day 14, Mazingabe to Hazebrouk 50 miles

Great start to the day with breakfast laid on by Annette. Consisting of jams, bread, croissant, cheese, ham, coffee and orange juice. Even the dog had some. We knew it may be a wet ride today so took our time, trying to dodge the drops by visiting a few Great War cemeteries and a museum. If you get the chance, visit the museum at Fromelles (Thorpe Wood) at 5 euros per adult it was very well worth it and underlines the futility of the sacrifice all those brave young men made. On leaving the museum, the rain started coming down so we took refuge in a McDonald's where we bumped into an odd Scottish biker spending a month in Europe, sleeping behind bus shelters. When the rain gave way it was off to Hazebrouck for a look around and a lunchtime beer at the Cafe de Paris. Some very strange folk frequenting that place, a strange woman singing away as if no-one else was there. After some food shopping we left for Thierrys place which we stayed at last year, once agai...
